I have been in the medical field in some capacity for the past 19 years. I decided to become a doula in order to provide support to moms and families as they welcome their newest addition. My certification is via DONA International, one of the largest, oldest, well-known certifying entities for Doulas. I am also CPR certified and will be working towards more certifications regarding pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and infant care in the near future.
